This is an updated re-post from my 2020 Easter post. Unfortunately, Easter 2021 feels like a “groundhog day” version, here in my adopted hometown of Aylmer, Quebec, across the river from my National Capital city of Ottawa, Ontario, where our communities are sharing a “third wave” with new restrictive lockdown rules. No dining, not even patios, curfews, etc. The release of my second memoir, “First We Eat. Food, Life, and More Stories” by Michele Sabad didn’t get a fair outing this past year, and soon I’ll be promoting a May 2021 release of a new short story-style memoir called “Lost Year A Pandemic Diary 2021”. In the meantime, if you haven’t had the chance yet to encounter my books, have a listen here. All the best, as best as that can be. Hope springs eternal, especially at Easter. 🙂
Happy Easter, from my physically-distanced home to yours. The times call for adaptation, whether we want to, or like it, or not. (A quality that many military families can relate to 😉 Please enjoy this video reading of an excerpt from my new book, “First We Eat. Food, Life, and More Stories”
For some reason, I can’t reblog from here, but I did write a bit about you in my blog and linked back to here. Love this! Can’t wait to read the book!
Thanks, Patty! So appreciated! 🤗
